1. identifying holes. If the foam is exposed, or the foam looks discolored, it will soon absorb moisture, and need to be immediately repaired with fiberglass cloth, if only scratches on the surface can be repaired with resin alone.

2. prepare materials. If it's a EPS surfboard, you have to buy epoxy, and the polyester resin will melt the epoxy foam, so if you have holes on the EPS board and you want to fix it, remember to use epoxy resin only!

3. clear. The area around the hole will break all the wax removal, glass steel pieces cut off the damaged, letting the water evaporate, if forced to repair the surfboard still wet, water will be trapped in a bubble, the plate core is easy to be burned.

4. tape. Use tape to circle the area around the hole to prevent the surrounding area from sticking to the resin.

5. mixed resin. 30g epoxy resin placed in the cup, add 10 drops of catalyst, stirring evenly, the specific amount to see the size of the patch repair vulnerabilities.

6. rag. Cut glass cloth into areas that cover the holes.

7. smear. Apply some resin on the brush, and glue the fiberglass cloth onto the wet resin. Brush the resin again. But don't use too much resin, because it leads to drip. You can put the plate in the sun and let it solidify.

8. sanding. Once the resin and glass fiber harden, it starts to grind.

9. reapply again. If the hardness is not enough or re sag, you can lay a layer of glass fiber cloth.

10. sanding again. When the plate is completely solidified, some wet / dry sandpaper is repeatedly polished, and then cleaned, the board will become shiny and bright.

11. done, and now your board has almost become a new board.
